I am currently residing in Grand Forks, ND with my wife Jill, and son Jon, who is attending UND. I grew up in the community of Northwood, ND where my parents, as well as son and daughter, with their families reside. I also have a son and his wife in Hillsboro, and a daughter in Grand Forks.

I completed my BSN as well as MS Family Nurse Practitioner at UND in Grand Forks. I have nearly 26 years in healthcare, starting with the Northwood volunteer ambulance service. I have worked the past 10 years as a Nurse Practitioner, in critical care and emergency medicine, with the last 3 1/2 years prior to joining CMC, in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake.

Jill and I enjoy the outdoors and horses, having a small farm near Leonard, ND. I enjoy the rural lifestyle with gardening and haying seasons. We are currently rebuilding an old barn we moved onto our property, occupying much of our spare time.
